PR Education connects academic and specialist publishers to FE colleges and Nursing Schools through a series of physical and online displays; promoting and marketing relevant academic text books on behalf of publishers and offering lecturers the unique opportunity to browse and select relevant titles for inspection copy requests, student adoption and library acquisition.

Representing a wide range of academic publishers including Sage, Kogan Page, Taylor & Francis and Jessica Kingsley; PR Education runs in excess of 90 physical displays across the UK and increasingly now offers online virtual displays, promoting both print and ebook content. Physical displays allow lecturers and librarians the opportunity to browse a wide range of titles in a relaxed and informal setting which encourages a greater number of inspection copy and acquisition requests.  Feedback from FE Colleges and Nursing Schools is universally positive and all request annual visits.  It is often the only opportunity these institutions get to see physical titles from a wide range of publishers.

PR Education is owned and run by me, Simon Skinner. I’ve worked in the book trade for over thirty years, latterly as Sales Director at Nielsen UK, managing the metadata and transactional businesses as well as the ISBN Registration Agency.  Prior to Nielsen, I worked for a wholesaler and a publisher so have an in-depth understanding of the book trade.
